Who can receive treatment?
The Vhi HomeCare service is a highly valuable treatment tool allowing patients suffering from numerous illnesses to receive hospital standard treatment while in their own home. However, Vhi HomeCare is not suitable for everyone or for every condition. Initially, patients suffering from a range of infections, or exacerbations of conditions such as COPD (chronic lung disease) will be treated in the home, but this list of conditions will expand as the service develops. Your consultant will be able to assist in deciding if your illness is currently treated by the Vhi HomeCare service.
