HealthSteps Silver provides you with more affordable cover for day-to-day medical expenses including cover for your GP, dentist, consultant, physiotherapist, optician, alternative and complementary practitioners and many more.
€25 per Dental visit, up to a maximum of 7 visits.
€25 per Physiotherapy visit, up to a maximum of 7 visits.
Optical benefit which includes an eye test, glasses/lenses - up to 75% of charges every 24 months, up to a maximum of €55.
Hearing test - €25 every 2 years.
€25 per Clinical Psychologist visit, up to a maximum of 7 visits.
Screening which can include allergy testing, cholesterol testing, blood pressure testing, breast and smear testing, up to 75% of charges every 24 months up to a maximum of €100.
€25 per visit, up to a maximum of 7 combined visits, per member, per year for Complementary Therapies including Dietetics, Chiropody, Orthoptics, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy.
€25 per visit, up to a maximum of 7 combined visits, per member, per year for Alternative Therapies including Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Physical Therapy and Reflexology.
€60 per Consultant visit, up to a maximum of 7 visits.
Pre- & Post-Natal Care, €250 in the year of the birth (a 52 week waiting period applies to this benefit).
Consultant Pathologist fees, up to €60 per referral.
Consultant Radiologist fees, up to €60 per procedure.
Radiology/Pathology technical charges, 50% of the agreed charges up to a maximum of €300.
All of the above benefits are subject to an annual excess of just €1.

NurseLine 24/7 is a confidential telephone support service staffed by qualified nurses who supply information on a wide range of medical conditions and queries. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to all Vhi Healthcare members.
