AccessAccess to Policy Manager is provided on the understanding that: DataSecurity/AuthenticationPolicyholders wishing to access Policy Manager must register with www.vhi.ie. Vhi Healthcare will then provide the Policyholder with a PIN, through the post or by sms, which the Policyholder must provide on request on each occasion the Policyholder accesses Policy Manager. The Policyholder: (a) must keep their PIN and other login details secret; (b) must not record the PIN in a form or manner which would be intelligible or otherwise accessible to an unauthorised person; (c) must notify Vhi Healthcare, immediately, should the Policyholder either suspect or become aware that their PIN or any of their Login Details become known or available to an unauthorised person.
Acting on InstructionsThe Policyholder authorises Vhi Healthcare to act upon all instructions received in respect of his policy or policies (once accompanied by the appropriate login details and PIN) which have been or appear to Vhi Healthcare to have been issued by the Policyholder, without taking any further steps to authenticate such instructions. Vhi Healthcare will accept instructions from Policyholders 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Instructions will be effected as soon as is reasonably possible.
RecordingVhi Healthcare shall record Instructions received by way of Policy Manager and, in the event of any dispute arising in relation to any instructions or alleged instructions, the record so kept by Vhi Healthcare shall be proof of such instructions or alleged instructions for the purpose of such dispute.
Alteration of the Terms & Conditions These terms and conditions may be altered by Vhi Healthcare at its discretion from time to time and will be altered by Vhi Healthcare to comply with any regulatory directive or to enhance the security of Policy Manager. Any such alteration will be notified to you by a posting an updated version of the terms and conditions on this Website. CommunicationsCommunications between members and Vhi Healthcare via the Ask the Experts service are not encrypted - please do not use these services if this causes you concern.
